PKU Law School Students Visit Beijing Arbitration Commission

On April 15, 2026, Professor Cao Zhixun led a group of "Chinese Law" program international students, exchange students, and Law School students on a visit to the Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC). The group toured BAC's facilities and attended a presentation by Senior Consultant Cheng Yiting, who introduced the BAC's history, institutional design, case administration efficiency, and its role in resolving cross-border commercial disputes. A lively Q&A session followed, covering topics including BAC's independence and credibility, as well as career paths in foreign-related legal practice. The visit gave international and exchange students a firsthand understanding of Chinese arbitration, and deepened their appreciation of China's growing role in international commercial dispute resolution.
