Ninth Spanish Arbitration Day in Beijing: New Developments in International Arbitration
On September 25, 2024, the ninth Spanish Arbitration Day in Beijing took place at Peking University as part of the 12th China Arbitration Week, supported by CIETAC. The event was co-hosted by the Spanish and Ibero-American Arbitration Club and Peking University Law School.
The program explored recent trends in international arbitration in Spain and Latin America. Mr. J. Félix de Luis, a CIETAC arbitrator and partner at Legal 21 Abogados, delivered the keynote address, with commentary provided by Mr. Brooks Daly, former Deputy Secretary-General and Principal Legal Counsel of the Permanent Court of Arbitration. The session, moderated by Professor Zhang Zhiyong, attracted students, faculty, and practitioners interested in international arbitration.
