He began by defining key concepts such as data, network data, and data compliance, emphasizing the importance of categorizing and managing data types like user data and personal information. He highlighted the three pillars of effective compliance—legal, organizational, and technical safeguards—and advocated for full lifecycle compliance to ensure data security. Dr. Gu also discussed current compliance practices, including regulatory requirements for personal information and enterprise strategies for addressing them. Finally, he examined advanced challenges such as data rights, cross-border data transfers, and compliance for AI-generated content.
