In 2014, PKU Law took a pioneering step by establishing the "Global & Comparative Law Lecture Series." Backed by a distinguished team of domestic and international legal minds, the series offers PKU students unparalleled access to cutting-edge insights on globalization and comparative law through English-language courses and lectures delivered by internationally renowned scholars and high-level practitioners. This immersive experience fosters a deeper understanding of globalization and the rule of law, cultivates an international legal perspective, and equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complexities of international legal practice.
"Global & Comparative Law" lecture series thrived in 2023, with 11 lectures delivered throughout the year. Nearly 30 scholars participated as speakers and discussants, offering more than 1,000 students valuable insights into various legal systems and trends.
