Peking University Team Winning Global Runner-up in the 64th Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition

 

 

 

On April 23, 2023, PKU Jessup Team competed in the Global Final of the 64th Session of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, winning the second place among all 580 competing teams from 93 jurisdictions across the globe. The competition, launched in 1960, is the world's largest and oldest moot court competition, attracting countless global competitors every year. The PKU team this year is the first from Chinese mainland that has ever made into the Global Final in the event's history. 
 
This year's PKU team consisted of six members: Lu Yujin(J.M'24) Li Fuhan (J.M'24), Zhao Xingyi (LL.B'23), Su Dongyu (LL.B'23), Shan Weitong (LL.B'23), and Zheng Huiwen (B.A'24). The team was coached by Professor Liao Xuexia and law school alumnus Huang Yuxiang ( LL.M'19).
