International Students of Chinese Law Program Visited the Beijing Arbitration Commission

On March 18th, international students of Chinese Law Program visited the Beijing Arbitration Commission ("BAC") with the delegation of students of the University of Chicago Law School.

The BAC was founded on September 28, 1995 and becoming more and more internationally influential. BAC Secretary Chen Xi welcomed the visiting delegation and introduced to the visiting foreign students some basic information of BAC, its historical development, and focuses were given to present the remarkable results achieved by BAC in the field of foreign-related arbitration. After the presentation, the students were eager to ask questions, which led to amicable and extensive exchanges on topics such as its independent mediation rules, institutions and the development goal of BAC.

Following the presentation, the students were shown around BAC facilities, including the arbitration room, case filing room and library. The students were deeply impressed by the Modern office facilities.During the visiting, the Chinese Law Programstudents share the study experience in Peking University and invited the students of the university of Chicago to visit Peking University law school.

Then the students took group photos with the staffs of BAC and expressed the hope that we can have the regular visiting activities.
