He graduated from the Law Department of Peking University with the degree of bachelor in law in 1987. Then he finished his study in the International Economic Law Department in University of International Business and Economics obtaining the degree of Master in law. He worked for the Beijing International Economic Law Office as a professional lawyer from April 1990 to October 1994. In 1993 he obtained the certificate among the first group of securities lawyers in China. In October 1994, he joined the Beijing Xinghe Law Office, and became a copartner.
