The Alumni Committee of Litigation major of Peking University Law School was established on Aug. 29, 2010, with more than 20 alumni of
litigation major as committee members, and Li Xuan, a master of litigation of 91’ class as Secretary General of the Committee, to
sign on the agreement and deal with issues related to the founding and operation of the foundation on behalf of the committee.

Purpose of the Foundation:
Along with the revival of law education in New China, the pioneers of litigation law—Professor Liu Jiaxing, Professor Wang Guoshu,
Professor Wang Yizhen, and Professor Wang Cunhou (“three Wangs and one Liu”) established Peking University Litigation Department.
In 1981, the Litigation Department became one of the earliest master programs in Peking University and even across China. The four
professors are the pioneers and founders of litigation laws of new China,their integrity, honesty and professionalism throughout
their academic and education career have won them respect in the field of laws and litigation. The students of litigation departments
have always remembered the edification of the four professors and practiced the upright style of study. Today, young scholars such as
Pan Jianfeng, Wang Jiancheng, Chen Ruihua, Sun Xiaoning, and Fu Yulin have inherited the traditions of the past, dedicated themselves
to education and academic research, writing down a new page in the development of Litigation Department of Peking University.

To inherit the virtue of our beloved professors“three Wangs and one Liu”, to promote the academic integrity of litigation department
of Peking University, to further develop the post graduate education in litigation, and to consolidate and promote the status of litigation department of Peking University in domestic academic field, at the 20th anniversary of the post graduate program,
representativesof the post graduates of litigation of Peking University Law School established the Alumni Committee Litigation Major of Peking
University. Through friendly negotiation with Peking University Law School, the Committee decided to set up the “Litigation Alumni
Development Foundation of Peking University”, designed to award the outstanding post graduate students, outstanding teachers in
litigation, and to support the academic research activities in litigation department., all alumni of the litigation department can apply for donation to the fund.

Use of Foundation:
The foundation offers scholarship to post graduate students of litigation major in Peking University. The items of scholarship include “scholarship for post graduate of litigation major” and “award for outstanding academic dissertation of litigation major”.
(I) Scholarship for Post Graduates of Litigation Major
1. Scope of Award
The objects of scholarship are 5 post graduate students of litigation major of Peking University Law School, including 2 students of master of jurisprudence, 2 students of master of law, and 1 student of LL.D.
2. Conditions for Award
(1) The student must be of patriotic heart, high morality, civilized manner, and respect to teachers and fellow students;
(2) The student must be diligent with excellent academic achievement and high studying and research ability;
(3) Those who have published outstanding thesis in core journals of laws recognized by the Law School are preferred.
(II) Award for Outstanding Academic Dissertation of Litigation Major
1. Scope of Award
The objects of scholarship are 5 post graduate students of litigation major of Peking University Law School, including 1 student of LL.D, 2 students of master of law, and 2 student of master of jurisprudence.
2. Conditions for Award
(1) The student must be of patriotic heart, high morality, civilized manner, and respect to teachers and fellow students;
(2) The student must be diligent with excellent academic achievement and high studying and research ability;
(3) The student have their academic dissertations passing the examination and selected as the best academic dissertation of litigation major of the year.
