Yang Ming:Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage
Date:2014-10-11
About the book
Though China is one of the countries with enormous intangible cultural heritage, the public didn’t pay attention to the research of intangible cultural heritage protection until 2003, when UNESCO issued the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. In 2011, Chinese government issued Intangible Cultural Heritage Law. However, the result of intangible cultural heritage protection is far from satisfying mainly because of the lack of legislation and related research.
This book aims to do some research on those topics which were mentioned above, as well as improve the procedure of intangible culture heritage protection legislation.
