2018-2019 Full Scholarship of EU Law LL.M. Program of Belgian Ghent University Law School

Founded in 1817, Ghent University is the number one comprehensive research university in Belgium and one of the world’s top 100 universities in the world. The school has 11 colleges and 117 departments. Gent University is located in Flanders, the Dutch Quarter of Belgium and the cultural and economic center of Europe.

Law school of Ghent University is one of the largest law schools in Flanders and Belgium. The College has more than 80 professors and more than 4,000 students. The College provides students with courses in criminology, notarial practice, European law, economic analysis of laws, and environmental law.

We established a cooperation relationship with the Law School of Ghent University in Belgium in 2017. The law school of Ghent University provides one place for students of our school to apply for the LL.M. full scholarship program of the EU Law 2018-2019 school year. Specific information is as follows:

 

Applicant conditions:
1. Bachelor degree in law when studying in Belgium
2. Language scores: IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL IBT 95

 

Application materials:
1. "Peking University Law School International Exchange Project Application Form" (click to download);
2. Personal Commitment (click to download);
3. Personal resume (Chinese and English);
4. Personal statement (English)
5. Language transcripts;
6. Course transcripts (Chinese and English);
7. Two letters of recommendation

 

Interested students are requested to send electronic application materials to pkulaweao@law.pku.edu.cn in the form of "Student ID + Name + 2018 Ghent University Law School LL.M." before 12:00 noon on March 19, 2018 (Monday). The hard copy of the application materials is sent to the Law School's Foreign Affairs Office.

 

Note: We will conduct a preliminary test on the applicant, and the final result will be determined by the Law School of Ghent University. Once applicants are accepted, they must not give up their admission.
