Introduction of the speaker: Professor Tomasz Giaro is vice dean of the Faculty of Law University of Warsaw. He was 2011 Prize Winner of the Foundation for Polish Science in the field of humanities and social sciences. He was the director of the international research project “Legal Culture of Modern Eastern Europe ” supported by the Volkswagen Foundation and the Max Planck society.
