On the afternoon of May 9, the signing ceremony of the Haotian Lawyers Fund Donation Agreement of Peking University Law School was successfully held in the B102 conference room of the Kaiyuan Building of the Law School. Liu Hong, Director of Beijing Haotian Law Firm, Xu Yu, Director of the Management Committee, Jia Yipeng, Executive Director, Guo Li, Dean and Party Secretary of Peking University Law School, Professor Pan Jianfeng, Yang Xiaolei, Lu Jiangnan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and other leaders attended the ceremony. Several partners and members of the management committee of Haotian Law Firm, as well as heads of the law school’s foreign affairs, student affairs, domestic cooperation and other departments attended this event. The event was hosted by Yang Xiaolei.

First, Director Xu Yu delivered a speech. While introducing the development history and honors of Haotian, he said that cultivating legal talents is the top priority for fulfilling social responsibilities. Haotian Law Firm has long paid close attention to public welfare undertakings and actively performed social responsibilities. Afterwards, Professor Pan Jianfeng delivered a speech. He mentioned that the outstanding achievements achieved by the School of Law in recent years are not only the result of the hard work of the School, but also benefited from the strong support of colleagues at home and abroad. He believed that both parties will take this donation as an opportunity to promote common development and inheritance. We will work together and make persistent efforts in the rule of law, civilization and other aspects.

Afterwards, Dean Guo Li and Director Liu Hong jointly signed the "Peking University Law School Haotian Lawyer Fund Donation Agreement."

Subsequently, Liu Hong, director of the speech, said that with the advancement and landing of the donation project, Haotian Law Firm will continue to maintain close contact with Peking University Law School, relying on a good foundation of mutual trust, to strengthen exchanges in more areas, at a deeper level, and in a broader scope, and strive to create a benchmark and model of the linkage between the school and the law firm in the industry.

Finally, Dean Guo Li made a speech. He said that in recent years, Peking University Law School in teaching, research, personnel training, social services and other achievements can not be separated from alumni and colleagues from all walks of life for a long time care and support. He thanked Hao Tian Law Firm for the donation for the College's career development, and looked forward to the College's future with the support of colleagues from all walks of life, to contribute to the vigorous development of the national rule of law construction with practical results.  

After the signing ceremony, representatives of both sides took a group photo together. In the future, Peking University Law School will more actively gather consensus and expand resources with all walks of life in the areas of party building, talent cultivation, practice teaching, think tank construction and social service, and link up and cooperate with the legal professional community, so as to jointly contribute to the construction of a strong nation and the rejuvenation of the nation with the strengths of the legal people.
