Peking University School of Transnational Law visited Peking University Law School Exchange Symposium successfully held

On the morning of May 12, a delegation from Peking University School of Transnational Law (PKUSTL) led by Mark Feldman, the Dean, along with Mao Shaowei, Vice Dean, Zhang Chenli and Zhong Xiaojin, Assistant Deans, Tian He, Deputy Director of the Library, and Tan Peihua, Cadre of Admissions Affairs Office, paid a visit to Peking University Law School. Guo Li, Dean and Party Secretary of Peking University Law School, Liu Zhewei and Dai Xin, Vice Deans, Lu Jiangnan, Vice Party Secretary, Li Yuanyuan, Director of External Affairs Office, Shi Shi, Assistant Dean, Director of Student Affairs Office and Secretary of the Youth League Committee, and Chen Zhihong, Director of the Law Library, received the visitors together.

 

On behalf of Peking University Law School, Dean Guo Li firstly extended a warm welcome to the delegation from STL and provided a brief overview of PKULS. He emphasized PKULS's commitment to nurturing talents in foreign-related rule of law and expressed the desire for enhanced collaboration with STL to further develop Peking University's law disciplines.

 

Dean Mark Feldman said that he was very glad to come to Peking University Law School to communicate with colleagues, and hoped that the two sides would strengthen exchanges and communications and explore a win-win road of cooperation.

 

Vice Dean Mao Shaowei introduced the basic situation, advantages, and expectations for collaboration of STL. He expressed the hope to deepen the joint construction of Peking University's law disciplines in areas such as curriculum development, academic research, and student activities.

 

The ensuing discussions delved into detailed exchanges on deepening student exchanges, teaching and faculty resource collaboration, library and database resource sharing, and the international development of the schools. Both sides affirmed their commitment to fostering a robust and fruitful partnership.
