"Thinking and Sharing Party of Special Young Youth"——the 21st Talent Salon for Han Kun Law Offices was held successfully

On the afternoon of April 23, the "Thinking and Sharing Party of Special Young Youth" -the 21st Talent Salon for Han Kun Law Offices was successfully held in Leo KoGuan Building B103. This Talent Salon invited six alumni of Han Kun Law Offices to give a wonderful sharing, including 1996 Juris Master Li Chaoying, 1998 undergraduate Wang Jin, 2003 Juris Master Chen Xianglin, 1997 undergraduate Liu Yunge, 2006 undergraduate Xie Shipo and 2018 Master of Law He Yuxi. The guests introduced the corporate culture and business direction of Han Kun Law Offices to the students, and enthusiastically exchanged views with students on topics such as career planning and development experience of lawyers. Shi Shi, Assistant Dean of Law School, Director of Student Affairs Office, Fu Chengyu, Director of Career Development Office, and Shi Moran, Deputy Director of Career Development Office, participated in this activity with more than 60 students of Law School. The Salon was hosted by Wang Danlei, a Master of Law of 2020.

At the beginning of the Salon, Shi Shi delivered a speech for this activity. On behalf of Law School, he expressed his sincere welcome and gratitude to the six alumni who had returned to school. He hoped that this activity would serve as an opportunity to further deepen the exchange and cooperation between Law School and Han Kun Law Offices. He encouraged the students to combine the successful experience and wonderful sharing of the six alumni, learning more about the industry information, expanding their career planning and making full preparation for the future career development.

In the topic sharing session, Wang Jin, Partner of Han Kun Law Offices, introduced the basic situation of Han Kun Law Offices to the students. Wang Jin said that Han Kun has always been adhering to the concept of people-oriented, providing the most comfortable working conditions, the most equitable promotion path and the most warm humanistic care for lawyers, at the same time being always by the side of the clients providing them with the best legal services. Finally, Wang Jin blessed the younger students of Law School to realize their ideals and values.

In the free Q&A session, Li Chaoying, Founding Partner of Han Kun Law Offices, together with other alumni, enthusiastically answered questions raised by the students about the career development paths, business choices and recruitment requirements. Li Chaoying shared the requirements to become an excellent lawyer combining his own experience. He encouraged the students to practice the basic skills of law during their study on campus, and face the difficulties and challenges in life with a positive and optimistic attitude and a rigorous and solid work style. Chen Xianglin gave a detailed explanation of the training and development of litigation lawyers in Han Kun, and pointed out the importance of combining theory and practice in the field of litigation. Liu Yunge introduced the general situation of Han Kun Shanghai Branch, shared her mental journey of career development, and encouraged the students to develop the ability to discover and solve problems on their own initiative. Xie Shipo introduced the advantages of Han Kun in the fields of anti-monopoly, data security, intellectual property rights and export control to the students, and pointed out that a lawyer must be down-to-earth and rooted in national or social conditions in his work. He Yuxi shared the diversity in business choices and different possibilities in future life planning of Han Kun people, starting with her own experience. At the end of this Q&A session, the guests reviewed their original intentions of choosing to be a lawyer one by one. The activity ended successfully in a relaxing and cheerful atmosphere.

With the theme of "Thinking and Sharing Party of Special Young Youth", this issue of Talent Salon successfully built a bridge of two-way communication between Law School students and the outstanding alumni of Han Kun Law Offices. The patient and meticulous sharing by the alumni further enhanced the students' understanding of the life in the first-line of law offices. This sharing activity strives to provide students with guidance in practice skills, career planning, value selection, etc., and actively assist the legal persons of Peking University in inheriting the spirit of the rule of law, enhancing their professional skills, and accelerating their growth into high-quality and high-level personnel under the rule of law with "both moral and legal education".
