The main topic of this book is environmental right, and the author aims to illustrate the dual valuation of environment and different demand of right. Environment right can be divided into two parts, one is instinctual environmental right and the other is developmental environment right. The former one is based on the environmental protection, and the latter one is based on the economic utility of environment. Before the application of environmental protection, we should know about the boundary of different rights. If we are unable to clarify the boundary, we should always give priority to environmental protection.
About the author
Wang Shekun is an associate professor of Peking University Law School. The main areas of his research are basic theory of environmental law and theory of natural resource right.
