The LLM Program Students Visited BAC

On April 18th, under the guidance of Professor Fu Yulin, the Chinese Law LL.M. Program students and some exchange students visited the Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC). Deputy Director of BACDr. Chen Fuyong, and Doctor Xu Jie gave them an excellent lecture.



Through the report by Mr. Chen, students learned the latest development of Chinese arbitration and the basic information about BAC, including the advantage of BAC in dispute resolution, like independence, impartiality, professionalism and efficiency. Mr. Chen also explained the change of the new BAC Arbitration Rules and how to act professionally in a case under BAC Rules. The students asked questions actively and showed keen interest in the topic.



Then, Dr. Xu Jie guided the students to visit the library, filing hall, conference rooms and arbitration halls, and showed the students the achievement BAC have made in arbitration theory research and its first-class office facilities.



The visit provides students the directly way to understand Chinese arbitration practice and Chinese arbitration law. Also, it’s a good learning experience. At last, group shot was taken to mark the occasion and the activity had been successfully concluded.
