25th Boya Public Law Forum of PKU Held Successfully

At 14:00 on November 6th 2015, the 25th Boya Public Law Forum of PKU organized by Institute for Constitution and Administrative Law PKU and Institute for International Law PKU was held in the courtyard of PKULS. Former Principal Assistant Secretary of the President of Finland, Dean of Turku University Law School Professor Antero Jyränki was invited to the forum and delivered a speech titled in “the Finnish Constitution and its future challenges”, Mrs. Jyränki and the Finnish Embassy Counsellor in China Mr. Tirronen Mika also participated the forum, Peking University Law School professor Ganchao Ying, Postdoctor Peng Chun made comments and the forum hosted by Chen Yifeng from PKULW.


Chen Yifeng first introduced the honored guests and made greeting, hoping the colleagues can make a good idea-exchanges.


After a brief introduction, Professor Antero Jyränki delivered a speech on the "Constitution of Finland". In his speech, Professor Antero Jyränki introduces the main features of constitutional history and the Constitution of Finland, and then he analyzed the main influence in Finland in 2000 after EU membership, member of the Finnish national identity of the Constitution. To adapt this identity change, the Finnish constitutional reform main content. Meanwhile, Professor Antero Jyränki also discussed as a supra-national organizations such as the EU, other potential impact of the exercise of the powers of a sovereign State.
