On the afternoon of October 21, 2016, under the leadership of Wei Xining, a professor of Peking University Law School, the students of the "China Law" program and some exchange students visited Beijing King & Wood Mallesons. The rain was lingering and the haze was vast, but that still can’t dispelled the teachers and students to visit China's most famous law firm. At 14:00, the teachers and students arrived on time, law firm staff to warm reception.

Yao Lijuan and Yuan Min, experienced partners of cross-border mergers and acquisitions and foreign investment, introduced the origin of the law firm, the meaning of the logo, the business areas, the scale of the law firm, the national branches and the development of the law firm for foreign students and exchange students. The foreign students were surprised by the fine business division, the rapid development of King & Wood Mallesons, and were also amazed by the vigorous prosperity of the Chinese lawyer industry.

The wonderful explanation of the two partners lit the students’ enthusiasm to further understand the King & Wood Mallesons. And then they ushered in a relaxed and happy Q & A session. Students from different cultural backgrounds and different places asked some questions that they were interested: some were curious about the operating mechanism of the office in the United States, some were concerned about the overseas expansion of the King & Wood, while others wondered why he King & Wood Mallesons did not establish branch offices in their own countries, and so on. The two partners answer the various issues patiently and meticulously. The interaction was frequent, and atmosphere was active and enjoyable.

After that, the staff of the firm led the students to visit the work environment of the law firm. The warm and friendly atmosphere of the workplace and humane office facilities turned everyone on. The students all said that if given the opportunity, they were willing to work in this law firm.
