Zhang Shouwen visited South Korea‘s Parliament, the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Tribunal

At the invitation of the South Korea, Dean Zhang Shouwen of PKU Law School visited South Korea's parliament, the Supreme Court and the constitutional tribunal during April 16 to 18 in 2014. Besides, he met respectively with vice speaker of the house of congress, Supreme Court dean and the director of the constitutional tribunal.

On the morning of April 17, Dean Zhang Shouwen visited the South Korea's parliament and met with South Korea's parliament's deputy speaker Piao BingXi. Piao BingXi gave a high evaluation of academic achievements between the Law schools of Korea University and Peking University. He hoped the two sides can strengthen exchanges in order to promote the further development of Korea-China relations.

On the afternoon of April 17, Dean Zhang shouwen visited South Korea constitutional tribunal, and met with the director Piao Hanzhe. Director Piao introduced the basic situation of South Korea's constitutional court. Dean Zhang Shouwen introduced the relevant systems in China.

On the afternoon of April 18, Dean Zhang Shouwen visited South Korea's Supreme Court and the dean of Supreme Court Liang Chengtai. He briefly introduced the function of South Korea and the supreme duty of the court system, and emphasized that education of law school training played an important role. Dean Zhang Shouwen introduced China's education system of the judge.
