The Dean of University of Melbourne Law School Visited PKU Law School

On the afternoon of March 31, 2014, Professor Carolyn Evans, the Dean of University of Melbourne law school, and Professor Sarah Biddulph, Deputy Director of the Asian Law Center, and MS. Kate Barnett, Vice Director of Law School Development Office, visited our law school. Wang Xixin, Vice Dean of our law school, Dean Assistant Guo Li and Liu Yuanyuan, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, had a warm reception for visitors.

Dean Carolyn Evans thanked a lot for the warm invitation from law school of Peking University. After the first visit to the law school of Peking University in 2012, the law school at the university of Melbourne has established a solid friendship with our law school and attached great importance to communication and cooperation with law school of Peking University. On April 8 this year, there will be 2 professors from law school of Melbourne University and some professors from law school of Oxford University and of national university of Singapore, together to give a short-term teaching in law school of Peking University.

Wang Xixin, Vice Dean of our Law School represented Dean Zhang Shouwen to express a welcome to Carolyn Evans. And he thanked law school in the University of Melbourne for its care and put forward some concrete opinions in joint training of students, teacher exchanges and other specific cooperation ways. The two sides will sign an agreement to promote further cooperation.
