Chinese Law Program Students Came to Visit Halfway House Located in Chaoyang District

Professor Wang Shizhou and Zhao Xue lead all "Chinse Law" program students, some short-term and exchange program students came to visit Halfway House, which located in Chaoyang District on On May 16, 2014. Mr. Liu, deputy director of Judicial Bureau, Mr. Ma, director of Halfway House and other staff greeted foreign students cordially, and organized a symposium.

Firstly, all students, professors and staff gave a self introduction briefly with an lively atomsphere. The staff started to guide us a tour by showing a propaganda.

And then, we were assigned to visit the workspace. Community correction, background of Halfway House, and way of operation were primarily understood.

Having been shown the workspace, we took part in a meeting. Theory of community correction, detailed process of community correction, more details of helping the released and other related problems were discussed.

Professor Zhao gave thanks in the name of Law School, Peking Univ., as well as presented souvenirs.

At last, we took a group photo and the meeting finished.
