"For the Result of Individual Violations Caused By the ‘Objective Imputation‘"

At 18:30 on March 14, 2014, "Contemporary Criminal Law Thought Forum" lecture series Special Forum, which was funded by the Peking University "Yang Chunxi Legal Education and Research Fund" and was jointly organized by Peking University Law School, Tsinghua University Law School, Renmin University of China Law School, China University of Political Science and Law -College of Criminal Justice China Youth University For Political Science Law School, was successfully held in Peking KoGuan building.

The forum's keynote speaker was Georg Freund, who is the professor of Germany Marburg University. His topic was "the outcome of individual violations caused by the 'objective imputation - a theory cannot justify itself'." Professor Jiang Su, Associate Professor Wang Fuying and He Qingren and many other experts attended the forum. Peking University Law School Professor Liang Genlin forum hosting, attracts students to listen to a number of institutions came to the scene. Forum was chaired by Peking University Law School Professor Liang Genlin.

 

First, Georg Freund believed that the problem to be solved by criminal law is to determine individual criminal responsibility. His speech mainly included four aspects. By describing the four aspects, he expressed his views.

 

In the interactive stage, Associate Researcher Fan Wen presented some of his own views, Dr. Cai Guisheng questioned the main legal problems in the process of Georg Freund's speech. Meanwhile, other guests, teachers and students lecture made insightful questions and get the professor's a positive response.

Finally, Professor Liang Genlin affirmed Professor Georg Freund critique of objective imputation theory reference for the development of China's criminal law, summarized the speech, thanked Professor Georg Freund's speech, Dr. Zhang Zhengyu and Chen Xuan lecturer's translation. Lectures ended at half past nine in a relaxed atmosphere.

"Contemporary Criminal Law Thought Forum" held once a month, Yang wash by Peking University Law Education and Research Fund sponsored support, Peking University, Tsinghua University Law School, Renmin University of China Law School, China University of Political Science and Law College of Criminal Justice and the China Youth School of Law jointly organized five schools, is intended to show the basic position of the leading edge of contemporary academic criminal law, basic principles, the basic thematic approach, family and academic forums. It is funded by the Peking University "Yang Chunxi Legal Education and Research Fund" and is organized by Peking University Law School, Tsinghua University Law School, Renmin University of China Law School, China University of Political Science and Law -College of Criminal Justice China Youth University For Political Science Law School, aiming to show the basic stance ,the basic principles and the basic thematic approach of contemporary criminal law academic front.
