The Chinese University of Hong Kong Master of Laws (LLM) in Energy and Environmental Law

The Faculty of Law of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) offers the LLM in Energy and Environmental Law taught in English by international faculty and conducted within the stimulating environment of one of the world’s premier business centres. The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung that will offer scholarships to excellent candidates with an interest in energy security and climate change studies. The Faculty of Law of The Chinese University of Hong Kong provides additional scholarship possibilities.
 

Required courses:
1. International and Comparative Energy Law
2. International and Comparative Environmental Law
3. Principles of Environmental Law
4. Project Finance and Infrastructure Law

Elective courses include Chinese Environmental Law; Clean Energy and Climate Law; Disaster Law; Dispute Resolution in the Natural Resources and Energy Sector; Financial Markets: Law and Operation; Oil and Gas Law; International Investment Law; International Commercial Dispute Resolution; International Taxation. Students may also, upon approval, choose courses offered by the Faculty of Social Science, including World Energy Markets; Environmental Policy Analysis and Global Resources Energy.
